Cashier

Role focus:
Representing Mateen on the shop floor by delivering an accurate, calm, and professional checkout experience.

Basic requirements:

  • Prior experience in retail or cashier roles preferred
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash
  • Clear communication in English and Kiswahili
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused

Fulfillment Associate

Role focus:
Ensuring orders are prepared correctly and inventory is handled with care and discipline.

Basic requirements:

  • Experience in fulfillment, warehousing, or stock handling preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and process discipline
  • Physically able to handle inventory movement
  • Dependable and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working behind the scenes to support operations

Technical Solutions Associate

Role focus:
Helping customers identify the right technical and electrical solutions through informed, practical guidance.

Basic requirements:

  • Certified electrician or proven hands-on electrical experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical products and applications
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and responsibly
  • Customer-facing experience is an advantage
  • Professional judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset

Paid Internship Program

Mateen offers a paid 3-month internship program for individuals interested in Fulfillment or Technical Solutions roles who have relevant qualifications or practical experience.

This is a hands-on, full-time role with clear expectations.
